504-piece, 16″ x 20” puzzle featuring a watercolor by Mary Norton McIntyre from 1976, which shows a view of Main Street looking west below Five Corners.
Mary Norton McIntyre (1899-1988) studied fashion design at Pratt Institute, and was a member of the Mount Vernon and Hudson Valley Art Associations. She lived on Ashley Road with her husband, Edwin, from 1931 until her death. They raised their three children in Hastings.
Mary painted landscapes and buildings in Hastings, the Hudson Valley, and throughout New England, as well as still lifes and portraits. Many of her paintings, which she exhibited regularly at local women’s clubs, Art in the Park in Tarrytown, and Westchester County art fairs, were dispersed into private collections.
