Welcome to the Hastings Historical Society. We have been chronicling the history of the village of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY since 1971. We are open Monday and Thursday from 11am–2pm and the 1st Saturday of every month, Sept through June, from 2–4pm. Join Us for Our Annual Meeting & Lecture This Sunday at the Hastings Public Library, Char Weigel presents Life During War Time: Caught in the Crossfire of the Neutral Ground — exploring the guides, militia leaders, and ordinary citizens caught in Westchester County’s perilous “Neutral Ground” during the Revolutionary War. Char is a board member of the Odell House Rochambeau HQ Museum, Vice President of Special Projects for Revolutionary Westchester 250, and a researcher and author on Westchester’s Revolutionary War history. A brief annual meeting will precede the lecture, with refreshments to follow.

The Hastings Historical Society welcomes scholars, historians and laypeople to utilize our archives for academic research.
